About Us

From a young age, Hannah loved design and looked for opportunities to help friends and family with their various decorating & remodeling projects. After marrying Ryan and purchasing their first place, she channeled her energy into turning their house into a beautiful home. As one of the first to utilize Facebook Marketplace to sell “Curated Rooms”, Hannah’s fresh approach attracted a design client roster and organic following.

By utilizing Ryan’s background in business and finance, he and Hannah combined their experiences and decided to launch a company that would give clients beautifully designed homes as well as a construction experience with a clear vision and fully integrated with design.

Through various projects and client preferences – the growing OHYH team has learned to work within a myriad of design styles —whether that’s a dated cookie cutter, mid-mod ranch, remote cabin, or a new build lacking character.

It is our prayer that by partnering together, your home becomes the place you never get enough of.

Hannah Schwanbeck

Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer

As Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Hannah Schwanbeck leads the creative direction of Our House Your Home, blending expertise in both design and construction to create spaces that are both beautiful and functional. With experience in both residential and commercial projects, she has helped over 100 clients bring their vision to life, overseeing more than $20 million in project development and execution. Her design aesthetic balances timeless elegance with livable comfort, seamlessly integrating classic architectural details with fresh, modern elements.

With a background in event planning and hospitality, she understands the importance of organization, coordination, and creating experiences that feel highly personal. Her passion for architecture and interiors evolved naturally over the years, beginning with managing home renovation projects for her employers and eventually growing into a turnkey design-build firm. Since 2018, she has worked with clients to reimagine their spaces, guiding them through the transformation process from start to finish.

Hannah’s approach to design starts with possibility—envisioning what a space could be before working through the details of execution. Clients come seeking a fresh perspective, whether it’s developing new construction plans in collaboration with architects and builders, or uncovering the full potential of a large-scale renovation. She is known for her ability to balance luxury with warmth, ensuring each space feels both sophisticated and inviting. While every stage of a project is rewarding, her most fulfilling moment is seeing clients walk through their completed home and hearing them say, “I can’t believe this gets to be ours.”

Working alongside her husband and builder, Ryan Schwanbeck, she values the strong partnership between design and construction—both equally essential to the firm’s philosophy. Their collaborative approach results in spaces that feel deeply personal, timeless, and tailored to the way their clients live.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, horseback riding, and soaking up the outdoors—especially at the beach.
